Luke Burns is a writer living in New York who wrote on Maude Night for four years. His work has been published by The New Yorker, New York Magazine, McSweeney's Internet Tendency, Splitsider, and in "The Best of McSweeney's Internet Tendency" and "The McSweeney's Book of Politics and Musicals." He teaches humor writing, and works as a sketch coach and director. He co-hosts the monthly show "An Evening of Humorous Readings," and is a co-creator of The Encyclopedia of Hypothetical Police Procedurals.
